Banky W, popular Nigerian R&B singer, rapper and actor lost some properties after his home located along Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos, was destroyed by fire. A neighbour to the artiste had earlier revealed on the telephone that the fire was caused by a faulty air conditioner which was believed to have started around 6:00am.The singer has taken to his Instagram page and gave scary details of how his dog and himself nearly got consumed in his house fire. He wrote: So there’s good news and bad news. The good news is… I’m thanking God that I’m alive to give the bad news as a testimony.  Bad news is… I was laying awake in bed at about 6am , and I just started smelling smoke. Stood up to shut off my tv and ac and realized it was coming from outside my door. Opened it to see the whole stairway was filled with huge gusts of black smoke/soot, and a fire was burning stuff downstairs. Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy  has revealed plans to divert his skills and funds into Nollywood. The don revealed this during his unveiling of his new business initiative, Flobyt, when asked about the way forward for him in terms of music and if we should be looking forward to any album. This is what he had  to say;  “I am not releasing an album anytime soon because I have other artistes whom I need to promote but filmmaking is definitely in the works. I don’t regard myself as an artiste because I am shy and reserved. I don’t like talking in public, I can sing in the studio but performing it on stage is the problem, I don’t want to be regarded as a fake artiste but I will go into movie making in the near future.” Guess we have to stay glued to our gadgets so that we dont miss out on the news of the movie when it comes out.

After the eviction of ‘four housemates, Ebuka explained to the remaining eight housemates that there would be no Live Nominations Show tomorrow night, Monday 27, 2017. Biggie had banished Bisola and Bally to the Arena and kept them in the dark as Biggie’s Ninjas were summoned to take them away from the Arena into a beautiful island style Paradise where the show’s host, Ebuka told them they were safe for the week because of their immunity which had earned a few days in Paradise. The other Housemates are still in shock as it hasn’t been revealed to them that Bisola and Bally’s exit are fake evictions. This decision got fans talking as they commended big brother for the recent decision, as they complained that the housemates were getting too comfortable. See below:
