Lagos State ban street/traffic and highway Hawking – Read why – Its very sad that this is happing now. The Lagos state government has put to an end to all forms of street treading today. This law is meant to hold anyone who fails to obey. On the 1st of July 2016, the Lagos state government brought out a new law that will stop all street and highway treading in the state. The reason behind this is, the bigger picture and dreams for Lagos people by governor Ambode. The governor of Lagos state gave this order to the Lagos police command and some other security and peace keeping agencies in the state. Anyone that is been seen selling or buying from along the street is a victim. Even when you buy from a hawker you will also be held. This new law will defiantly bring hunger and starvation to so many homes in Lagos state. Some people depend on hawking foods stuff and other things just to make ends meet.
